Who Mourns for St. Nicholas?

This is my latest work, written over the last few months of 2019. It’s novella-length (about 19,000 words). Here’s my official description:

“Climate change may be fatal for humans, but it’s no picnic for Santa (a.k.a. Nick) either. In a world where warming temperatures and the decline of civilization make Christmas spirit a rare commodity, Nick struggles to survive without selling out his principles. Packed with mythical beings, tragic conflict, morbid humor, and mildly amusing footnotes, this novella provides a dark yet moving look at human nature through the eyes of its myths.”

It is not set in the Firebreak universe, and is probably my weirdest work to date.
